First Show!

I took my colt to his first show. I had a lady handle him because my knee is too screwed up right now to count on it not collapsing in the middle of trotting him. She only had time to work with him once before as she was a substitute after the original handler broke her ankle. He took second in Halter and In Hand Trail behind a stunning paint colt!! I think if we are better prepared next show we might actually beat him. He was not as clean and tidy as he could have been (I was a mess and didn't give us enough time) for Halter and he went out of the posts on one spot on the In Hand Trail. I am so proud of him. If he wasn't wearing a yellow ribbon no one would have known that he was still intact. He got so many compliments for his behavior!

Thank you He was not what I was expecting when I bred his dam but has surpassed my wildest dreams. I was wishing for a blanket filly... lol.
