Pip wont tolorate this!

Recently my coach's wife bought a rescue mare about 5 years old, 16hh (maybe taller) buckskin/dun(?) paint cross, we are thinking TB or SB with her big ol block head and uhh....special way of moving. hahah

Any whoooo, the other night she asked me if I could hop on her after she lunged her (we are just in the process on backing her) and so I said sure and brought Pip in with me so I could ride her after. My coach held onto Pip while he stood to watch and as I was about to get on my coach starts talking to Pip saying how I found a new baby and how I didn't love her any more and how I don't want her, "look at her petting the new mare! She's cheating on you" all those type things just joking around and Pip pinned her ears in the start, then the more he talked smack she would move her mouth towards him and then tried stepping away. So my coach moved her back to where she was supposed to stand and started talking normal and Pip relaxed and ears went normal, body normal....until he started saying how I've abandoned her and I don't care any more and she did it all again! I couldn't believe it and started laughing so hard I could hardly concentrate on the horse I was on!

After I was done with the new mare I walked over to Pip and she had her ears all perked and seemed a little happy that I didn't "abandon" or "forget" about her

Oh that is a hoot!! Those jealous horses!! Mine give me the "EHEM!" look if I get any other horse out besides them! Some people say horses don't feel jealousy, I say they have not spent enough time with their horse because MINE sure do!!
