I agree with Rebecca and 2manyfurbabies. As much as I would love having an extender for my stirrups (short people=shorter stirrups=big struggle), I would think that it would be more of a hassle. Having to swing over to the other side of the saddle might be sort of tuff with the one stirrup being 3 inches longer than normal!
If you want to give it a try, go ahead, but I don't think I would spend too much money on it.

You see, this is why I prefer horses in the 14 hand range
There are times when you can trust a horse, times when you can't, and times when you have to.
