First let me also say welcome from GA, and if that horse needs some summer time heat to keep her calm she can come stay with me, we've got ( what you folks in Canada would call ) summer time heat all year round down here. Seriously though, you have a beautiful horse. ( and I'd take her off your hands if she needs a new home)lol

Hi everyone,

Back from the cottage up north, beautiful riding, pity I did not have my horse. Rode Moon today first time in 10 days, She was great, beautiful hot weather. Did end up on the ground because a deer was stuck in some fencing and my friends horse took off, I was too relaxed (go figure!!) anyway nothing broken. I held on to the reins and she stopped. The deer got away safe. The rest of the ride home was good, but a BIG beaver ran between us, I guess he was on his way to visit a friend, maybe the deer

I am suposed to be going on a trail ride to a beautiful area called St williams in the morning. The weather should be perfect, hopefully not too many bugs. (or deer). I will let you know how the ride goes. Keep hanging on, the ground is hard this time of year!

I'm glad you are O.K. Kathy. Make sure you put glue on your pants tomorrow before you go to St. Williams. Have a great ride. Try and go, even if you are sore from todays ordeal. It will be worth the pain, if nothing else
