Newbie from Kansas

Hi everyone!! I'm a long time horse lover from Kansas. Was raised on a farm and had them all of my growing up years.. Spent a lot of time at 4-H events all over the place. I had QHs and Morgans. Did some barrel riding and lots of parading the rodeo's, fairs and other events. I managed to keep my hand in during my hubbys military carreer by teaching riding for the Armys outdoor recreation program here in the States and in Germany. Monika, at Dusty Trails Horse Rescue in Montgomery Alabama showed me this site so here I am. I've been friends with her since "92" and can tell you I know first hand how hard she works for the rescue. Have been one of her "helpers" a few times. Now reside in Pratt, Ks and have 3 miniatures. Tootsie, her filly Firefly and Warrior are a joy to me now that I'm older and don't have time or energy for big horses. We also have a plethoria of other critters including 3 dogs, 3 indoor cats and to many out door stray cats!! Love this site and will enjoy visiting with y'all.

Ha...!!! There you are! Well.... welcome from Alabama

You will love it here!!

By the way folks, this lady flew to Alabama not once but twice to help with the rescue and taking care of the critters here so hubby and I could go on a short trip!! So, i'm not the only one dedicated to the cause
