Hi from TX

Hey everyone. I am new to the board. I am 25 years old and live in central TX. I currently have 5 horses, but am seriously thinking about getting out of the horse business. The economy is just killing me. Anyway, wanted to say hi to everyone.

Ok.. I am going to try to post pics of my pride and joy. Hope it works.

^ excuse his ribs, he is still rehabing.

So far, in an entire year, I have sold one 20 something welsh pony and one 7 year old green broke TB. That's it. I have an AQHA sorrel mare and a grade roan mare for sale (been for sale for over a year now) and I will put my cremello up after he gains all his weight back. NO bites... none. Horses are selling at the sale for $350 a pop- registered and well broke.

I think your gang looks darn good from where I'm sitting! Good luck with the selling part.....have you built a website or placed them on many sale sites?

Are you selling all of your horses?? Financially, we are selling several....we had 26 to feed last winter, thankfully, we are down to 20 now (not counting weanlings that are pending sale/weaning dates but counting 2 we brought in for riding purposes) and our goal is to get down to 14-15 before winter hits again......thousands of dollars was spent last year on grain, hay, ferrier, vet, etc.....time to reduce the load!

I want to sell all but momma and the baby. Then, if things look okay, we will buy ONE old trail mount. ONE, I swear! I just want an old plug to trail ride and teach my daughter to ride on.
