*now with pics* Waving from the ever-so-exciting NEBRASKA

Hi, robin made me come over here (bklyncwgrl).....so far I find it interesting haha, but I'm ATTEMPTING (key word there) to not let a forum dictacte my life, but we all know how that goes.

Anywho, I'm Kelli. I'm married to Travis I have 3 OTTB jumpers and one QH mare who belongs to Travis but I do all the work with her.
I compete in CO with my jumpers and will travel to OK this summer for a bigger show (AA rated). I don't show a whole lot with diesel as high as it is, but I'd love to show more just cuz its fun.

My mare Fiona does the 3'6 jumpers currently, but I'll be schooling 3'9 to test those waters...she can do it.

My gelding Dawn (poor guy with girly name) does the 2'9 jumpers cuz he's VERY green, but he has free jumped 4'3...so I'm not too worried about him.

Elton is my 19 yr old retired gelding. He was successful at 3'3 jumpers.

Cookie is the QH...she's cute

Ummm what else. We have registered black and red angus cattle...some simmental and some sim/angus crosses. We run about 50 head here and then another 80-100 (can't remember) at his parent's ranch in eastern NE. Travis AI's cattle as ONE Of his jobs and thats where I'm at most of the time because I thaw the semen for him (funnnnnnnn.....).

My job...web design, graphic design, magazine layout, bull sale catalogs, commissioned drawings, and whatever else I feel like doing...all from home

I might put up some pictures later...I'm too lazy to upload at hte moment HAHA and SHOULD be outside working horses anyway!

Nice to meet you all.

Ok pictures.....

This is Dawn (Double O'Slevin but his race name was At Dawn..hence 'dawn' haha) He is doing a 4'3 oxer in this picture and the tops of those yellow standards is 5'6" As you can guess....I have high hopes for this guy! Oh he's 8 yrs old....off the track and 16.2 hands.

and another cool pic

This is Fiona (Smooth Irish Whiskey). She currently does the 3'6 jumpers and this is us last summer at a show in Fort Collins, CO. She is truly turning into the sterotypical red headed mare...ugh But as long as she jumps this good, I don't care! She is 7 yrs old and 16 hands...also off the track.

This is Elton (Rocket Man). He is now 19 and retired. I've had him since 1996 so he has his forever home with me. He no longer likes to really be ridden...just pets and treats. He's a people horse, but you can tell that he's so over the jumping thing. He'll still do it, but no way would I make him...he definitely earned his place with me. This is a pic of a small jump, but I think its cute. He is the horse I've jumped the highest on (4'6"). I'll never forget it He is only 15.2 hands too

This is Cookie (Sugar Docs Bartendar) She currently does not much of anything! She is 14.3 hands and 7 yrs old. She is the hubby's horse and she is quite the lil princess.

Hi Kelli! Wondered how long it would take for you to make it here? LOL I won't give you "clues" as to who I am, like I did Robin, Melissa and Cyn.....I'll just tell you I know you from another forum. Does the name "Stormyheart" ring any bells? Yup! That's me! LMAO

Welcome, and I hope you like it here. I know I do......a lot better than that "other" forum!!!
