Talking Newbie from VT

Hello all! I've been reading posts here for a while and just recently joined b/c I couldnt stand not being able to reply! lol
Well I am a 21 year old from VT. I learned to ride english when I was very young then progressed to riding western. Then I lived and worked on a ranch in AZ where I met my hubby, a team roper 3 years ago. We moved back here in October with our 3 horses (1 appendix paint X gelding, 1 grade paint mare, 1 bay AQHA gelding) and our 2 dogs (aussie Hank, and aussie mix Sadie). Right now don't do much riding, due to the fact that there is no where to rope around here and dont have the cash to make own arena and cattle! I was just learning to lead steer when we left AZ. I have now regressed a bit, and would need a refresher! I can't believe I had the luck of getting married to the one cowboy that doesnt like to ride unless he's roping or hunting!! Looking forward to getting to know you all! I will attempt to post some pictures! [IMG][/IMG]

Hi from Arkansas. You aren't the only one married to a cowboy who doesn't actually like to just ride. Fortunately, my hubby does like to ride but I know lots of ropers who don't "ride".

Welcome from Massachusetts! There is a farm in Castleton VT that has rodeos. My 4-H club use to set up tents and stay there a couple days in August. If you are not too far from there, I would check it out. Good luck!!
