Skylight Minis in Florida

Hey,

Our goal is to raise quality miniature horses in a rainbow of colors. My ultimate goal is to have 2 herds each with a stallion and 6 mares each for a total of 14 minis plus babies!!

Right now I am concentrating on getting out of school. Graduate in May yeah! As soon as we get more light in the day I will start back with training minis to drive for people. So far we have a list of 100% satisfaction from our customers.

In the future I am hoping to get into raising miniature cows. How cool would it be to have mini cows out with the mini horses? My website is www.geocities.com/skylight_minis/ Check it out if your interested in minis and check it out if you arent. :P I have pics of my babies on their my favorite horses are the mother and daughter Lady and Bree. They are pretty much identical in personality. You cant love one with out the other. I've got several pics of them in the exact same pose at the same time.

Thats the joy of having a website through geocities sometimes it works sometimes it don't. Only so many people can look at it at one time its a very strange thing. Try it again in a few mins if still dont work try tomarrow.

Welcome I see you like the larger mini's. Mine are 34" and under all but one. I can't find a proper fitting Bridle for him. His blinds rub his eyes. Due I dare drive him without them? I've never measured him but was told he's 39". I bought a new harness and it was to small so I went to the people I got him from and bought his old tack, only to find out it is the same size.

Very nice web site you got there. Pretty horses too! Have fun on HT. I look forward to seeing you around.

Hello from Alberta. Is there really such thing as mini cows. I would go see a multi mini farm any day. There are now mini Australian Shephards. You could add those too.

thats all i need is some mini herding dogs to herd my mini cows and horses. Should i get mini goats too? lol Maybe a potbelly pig too.

On the bridle there is a nice company that custom makes harnesses. I'm sure they could make you a driving bridle Just tell them your problem. I bought a biothane harness from them and love it.

Welcome! I have a palomino tobiano mini due anytime now. She's expecting a mini mule!!!

Farmergirl, if he's good about driving, it shouldn't be a problem to drive him without blinders. I can even hook mine with just a halter! It is a pain on most mini driving bridles the blinkers seem to be wonky.
if he's 39' inches he'll probably fit into a small pony harness.

Welcome from Kentucky, minis are so cute. When we lived in Il,there was a guy who had minis and at Christmas he would have open house for community to come and see them and had wagon rides. He also had a camel and some llamas. He went to Pegasus Parade several times in Louisville with his minis.
