Hello from Central Florida!

Hello everyone! I finally decided to join HorseTopia- my sister has been on here for awhile. Here is a little about myself... I work in a well-known clinic, in the insurance department. I have always loved animals & always wanted a horse when I was little- now I have 4 of them! We actually have 4 cats, 4 horses & now 3 dogs! Last year, I was learning to ride & I got on our buckskin & he started bucking on me & so I panicked & got my foot out of the stirrup & jumped! OUCH! So, ever since then, I would be very nervous getting on any horse. Well, almost a month ago, we traded one of our horses (Blade) for a Rocky Mountain horse named Smoochie! & she is a sweetheart! She is very gentile & I finally rode her 2 Saturdays ago (trail-riding) & she was awesome! I finally found a horse that I can ride!

Well, I think that'll do it!

Here are our horses: Cash, Honey, Thomas & Smoochie!

I didn't even see your reply til this morning-- don't know how I missed it! But- yes, I am sooo glad we found Smooch! I can't wait to ride her again! Oh- one of the best parts about her is that you can ride her bareback w/just her halter (& a rope tied for reigns). She is so gentile! I've tried the bareback thing, but she is still bony (we are trying to put weight on her & she is slowly gaining) & i have a hard time keeping my balance! Our Dad bought a bareback pad (that has the stirrups & stuff) & maybe I will try that next time!!

But thank ALL of you for your warm welcome! Be blessed!
