Hello from South Texas

Just wanted to say Hi and introduce myself. My name is Jennifer Goodman, and I live on the Gulf Coast about 45 minutes south of Houston.

I have had horses most of my life and right now I have 3 of my own. Posted about one of them on the General Forum last night. Have a 14 yr old AQH mare (Broadway aftr Midnit), her filly who is 5 yrs old (Hobo's Midnit Lark) and a 8 month old Pinto filly (Cinder's Way).

I have competed in Halter, WP, and some Reining. I am now trying to get into roping and team penning, also use my horses for alot of ranch work. But mostly I love to just ride and be around my horses. I have been known to spend all day out at the barn doing just whatever so I can be around them. LOL weird I know.

Broadway was the first horse that I had bought on my own, have had her about 10 yrs and have done everything with her. Lark is just now being broke to ride and I cannot wait.

Now about Cynder- hmmm I hate to admit this but I really do not like paint horses. But the first time I saw her I just fell in love and was crushed when I was told that she had been sold. Well about a month later the new owners asked me if I would like to own her as their circumstances had changed and they did not have time. Jumped on that and even bought her for less than what they paid. She has probably been the easyiest horse that I have ever worked with. Loves people, very smart, laid back couldnt care less attitude and just willing to please.

Not real sure what else to say as I have never been any good at this but ask away and I will gladly answer. I am just so glad to find a site like this that i cant wait to start getting to know everyone.

Welcome from Maryland

Yes those paints seem to have not a care in the world. At least everyone that we have bred and owned over the last 10 years or so.They so different than our Arabs, and QH.
