How many other northern Californians out there?

Hello from Heart's Content Ranch in Northern California. I am Jeanette and I raise foundation Quarter horses, and Half Arabians( Qurabs). I also board, train, teach riding, stand four stallions, take consignments, foal mares, make horse cookies and do blanket repair. In my spare time I love to quilt and play with my cat herd. I enjoy talking "horse" anytime. At some point, I would love to have a website, but since I don't know how to do one and am always "horsepoor" , it will have to wait for now.

Thank all of you for the WARM WELCOME!!!

I am located in Somerset which is east of Placerville in the Sierra Nevada foothills. Our small "town" if you can call it that, consists of a small general store, a real estate office (gotta have one of those to be a town!), a post office, and a cafe.

Looking forward to chatting with all of you!

It's funny -- we don't seem to have many Californians on the forum. It's a big state, so where are you guys all hiding?

You'll have to tell your friends about us! I guess word of the forum hasn't gotten that far west yet.

I am a "little bit late", but please allow me to oficially welcome you to the Horsetopia Forum. This is a wonderful place for information, support and friendship, and we are so glad that you have decided to join our Horsetoia family!

Please, if you have not already done so, take a few minutes to read our forum rules at:
http://www.forum.horsetopia.com/viewtopic.php?t=2969. The HT goal is to make everyone feel comfrotable when asking for advice or posting a reply, so if you have any questions or concerns after reading these, please feel free to contact any of the moderators or administrators.

Also, as you browse the forum topics, you will notice that we love to share information about ourselves, and to accompany this with photos. If you have any trouble posting pictures or creating an avatar (the picture under your username), please check out this link at: http://forum.horsetopia.com/viewtopic.php?t=963. If you still find that you are having trouble, you may contact our Technical Coach and Moderator, Taelesean, for further assistance.

Finally, on a personal note, I would like to extend a warm welcome from Tennessee. We raise foundation bred quarter horses, also, as do a lot of folks on here - it will be fun sharing discussions with you!

yeah it IS great horse country here. I have no idea why there aren't more californians on here... there's only about 3 or 4 that I can think of... not counting myself or you, littlebit!

But Kentuckians/Tennesseeans/Arkansasians... there's aLOT!

Anywho, welcome!

We are actually 3 on HT...me, my DH PMService and daughter HickDressageRider.

Okay, I'm about as far west as it gets, except for the few members out on the peninsula. We're here, I just think we're the quiet minority; spending more time with our horses than online
Welcome, littlebit!
