Howdy y'all

I'm new here. I found the forum while searching for recommendations on fitting a weanling for a halter show. Decided to join for advice.
I am a 26 year old house wife that also substitute teaches for a little spending money. I live on 20 acres with 6 horses (3 belong to neighbors, but are here for work) My husband and I have an Appendix Quarter Horse and 2 Appaloosas (one is a 5 month old filly). The three other visitors are 2 QH mares and a 6 month old TWH filly that is keeping my filly company. In addition we have 4 cows (mainly beef and a pet longhorn), 7 dairy goats, 18 chickens, 4 peacocks, 6 runner ducks, 3 rabbits, and 3 dogs (one is a goat dog)
This is my first baby to do anything with besides imprinting and halter breaking. Before college I took care of a friend's mare who we had no idea was bred. So I did imprinting and halter breaking with her, then went to college. I got my new filly about 2 weeks ago. She has settled in nicely, stood well for her first trim, and is spoiled rotten already.

Welcome to the forum, Laughter, from sunny and warm St Louis Mo!

Of course, we love pictures, so if you have pics of all your critters, those are always appreciated.

There are a few people here that should be able to help you out with your baby...I won't even pretend to have a clue.

Enjoy!
