Hullo from Colorado!

Hey everybody!! Though I ought to introduce myself.

I joined here because HGS is down (sad day), and this was decided to be the next best place to come for now. So here I am! YAY for being an internet refugee

Aaannyywho, my name is Emily, I'm from northern colorado. I'm currently a college student working away at a degree in i'm-still-not-sure-what . I'm a thoroughbred addict, I have two of them! And I'm an AVID eventer

Here is a picture of my younger horse, Buddy Boy, he's an 11 year old OTTB who I love to pieces. If I can ever land myself a job we will be going Training level (gotta love the economy eh? at least I can still afford to keep and care for him, even if competing is outa the picture for now).

I really like it. Bugs, for some reason, just have a thing for Buddy, they eat him up. I flyspray of course, but one of the few little things Buddy does NOT like is flyspray (or water for that matter) on his face and ears. So, instead of taking the time to get a rag/sponge to apply flyspray, I just use a earnet instead. Works GREAT at keeping those bugs outa his ears. Buddy is much happier, a lot less headshaking during our rides

Call me prejudiced, but I think HT if the BEST place to come for horse advice! This is a truly wonderful and supportive group.

Welcome, from south central PA!
