I'm So proud...

So last Monday I started my mares training. We've been at this since last summer but only got as far as me riding her at a walk for about 5-10min and her stopping every few steps. Something always happened to stop our progress. Anyways back to my story.
Last monday I started her training again. We started at a walk and she kept stopping but all was well. Tuesday she was walking without stopping so much and i brought my crop with me to remind her i didn't say stop yet. She started getting really good at the walk so on Tuesday i decided she was ready to try the trot...and she did GREAT!
On wednesday i rode her at a trot walk as well as thursday we did the same thing...walk trot. She was doing so well. So on Friday we were doing the same thing but then we were invited out to go on a trail ride with the barn owner and another boarder. I was a little hesitant but decided what the hey...if she became to spooky we could turn back. well we were gone for 2hrs! And Mya did so well. You would have thought she was broke to ride! She went along like a champ. Trucks passed by us on the dirt road and she didn't flinch...dogs barked and nothin from her. We went in the middle and sometimes we were the leaders! I don't think i have ever been as proud of her as i was on friday. I gave Saturday to her off as she did so well friday...on sunday we rode again but this time we tried the canter for the first time and again...she did so good. no bucks no nothing...cept after a few strides she came to a complete stop and she's still a little unbalanced at a canter..she's not sure how to carry my weight yet. Today rained so we couldn't ride but i think i'll always remeber last week with great pride.
May is the first horse i've trained and we're doing so well.
My mom is even talking about sending her horse to me to train...tho where i would find the time to ride 2 horses AND train another one i don't know

So I guess now...my questions is...when do i consider her green broke? Tomorrow i plan on taking her out of the riding ring into an open field for some fun...I'm just so proud of her and I for all we've accomplished...I've been waiting so long for this to happen. It's like a dream come true to be riding my gorgeous girl.

BTW: She's nine and I've had her for 1.5yrs now. So after 1 summer and 2 spring of no prgress and to come to the end of summer with so much progress...I'm on cloud nine!!
