Missy at 30 Days
We sent my husband's barely greenbroke mustang mare to a trainer and went to check on her today. He's doing a great job with her - this guy really understands how mustangs think. When riding her today to show us her progess, he rode her in the only dry area up by the barn and the round pen was too wet to work her first, which was his usual routine. At one point while he was loping her, she exploded into a mini-bronc show. The trainer easily rode it out and instead of getting mad at Missy, was very patient with her. I was very pleased with how he handled the situation. She calmed right down and he rode her a bit more than got off and Phil got on her. Missy really likes Phil - there is a connection there. She rode very nicely for him and you can see how great they looked together today - I'm so proud of hubby and Missy!!!
