One small step closer!

Today, I took the plunge. I lunged Lil Bit WITH a surcingle & pad. He did awesome He walked like a champ, a few little bucks while trotting, but I pushed him forward and that was it. He walked/trotted with no fuss. Wasn't relaxed at first, but within a few minutes, got the hang of it.
I am soooo happy, had to share.

He looked so good with a pad on ( even though it was english ) and his movement looks so good. I wish someone had of been able to take a few pics for me, this was an exciting moment for us. . . or me anyway
Once he masters walk, trot, lope and whoa with the surcingle, then maybe we'll move to saddle, it depends.
This wasn't something I have been recently thinking of doing, just spur of the moment. Glad it went as well as it did!
