Prix caprilli set-up

Sorry - I know this doesn't go here, but I'm not sure where to put it....

Can anyone tell me the dimensions of the ring set-up for a prix caprilli test in a standard large arena? In other words, how far off the rail does the jump at "B" go, and where then do the other two diagonal jumps go as to not interfere with the center line?

Thanks in advance.

You can set up in a standard dressage arena 20 X 60 meters. Fences 1 and 2 are set up at A and C their centers are 36' from X. Fences 3 and 4 are set up at B and E with the centers being 8' from the arena fence. Fences 1 and 2 should be 18" high, fence 3 should be 24" high and fence 4 should be an oxer, 24" high and no more then 24" apart.

I hope this helps

Thanks, I now want to see the test you're talking about. The test I'm talking about has 3 fences, one on the quarter line(ish) and two coming off that fence from an angle MXK and FXH. The problem we are having, even having cut the poles down to 9', is that the two diagonal fences either aren't on the true diagonal or they interfere with the center line. So I'm trying to figure out what the proper dimensions for placement of all 3 fences is to avoid this. Maybe the poles have to be even shorter.... Where can I get a copy of the test you are refering to?

The ones used in the intercollegiate shows call for any sized arena. B would be roughly 1/2 way on the right sided long side of the ring. The diagonals would be set up on a comfortable diagonal line so as not to interfere with the middle line or the circles depending on the test.
