I'm so excited

I've been working with my new boy now (my blurry avatar) the 17 hh Appendix I bought in May, for four months.
We have two very good instructors at the barn, but the BO and most experienced just returned from a Silver Medal win in 3-day at the Pan Am games.
We had our first lesson together last night (She's been gone since Jan and hadn't really seen my new addition.)
What a hoot, ok I rode for 20 mins in a 20 meter circle with my reins bridged 3 inches apart, but it got my hands working together and Rio softer and less bulgy.
On Saturday I'll have my first jumping lesson with her. She liked my boy and although very green, thinks I've got a horse I can really do something with (plus he is a huggy bear and so much fun to work with)
I don't have great pics yet, but I'm working on it. If we can ride outside and hubby stops closing his eyes when we jump I may get some!
