I Broke Down and Got a Trainer

After my bad experience with an english instructor a few years ago, I was really leery of signing up for that again...but I broke down and decided to try out a local trainer. We had our first lesson today, and I think it went great! She totally understands my need for commendation for the things I'm doing right, and is not overly critical at all. Actually, at the end of it she said "You have a great attitude and you take criticism well"...I didn't even realize I was getting criticized! So she obviously has great people-skills also.

I'm very pleased, and can't wait for our next session! She told me I have a great Western seat, but that I need to start re-thinking how I do things for English, which is fine. At least I know I was doing something right!

Just thought I'd share...
