Favorite Breed??

Hi, I was bored, so I was just wondering, what's your favorite coloring, size, and breed of horse????

I'd have to say mine is a Quarter Horse. Prefferably 16 hands or nearly 16 hands. I like them jet-black with a white star or stripe. Or pure bay.

And I also like a deep gold palomino with a creamy white mane. Gorgeous. I don't know if I'd want one that color for myself, but still beautiful.

Buckskin all the way around, I don't like too big, or too small of a horse, right around 15.1 is perfect for me. Also is a good size for doing both english and western.

I also like jet-black but my dream horses are as follows:

one 17hh Clydesdale gelding - "Budwesier-marked" or close to it.
one black mustang with star (at least 15hh) - trail riding for me
one 15.2hh "bombproof" paint gelding for the hubby to trailride on
one chocolate/flaxen mini mare to keep around as a pet ( I like that one girl's "Moon Pie" mare from a few posts back called "Meet My Mini Whinnies"

I like Friesians ( sp?), jet black, about 16hh. I like big horses, but not all that big, just big in the body, not height. That would be my dream horse though.
For realy life horse i know I could have and would be everything I want.....I have had way to many QHs to want one of those, I would say an arabian, grey, 14.3hh, long flowing main and tail. Wait I probably cant have one of those eigther....well I know I can have a sorrel QH 15.2hh, AHHH perfect.

QH type, about 15 hands tall, well muscled, quick, catty and plenty of speed. Smooth gaited and good ground covering gaits. Likes to move out and "go somewhere". Must be intelligent and willing to be a partner. Color on the outside doesn't matter but must be solid gold and true blue on the inside. Must have good straight legs with solid bone and hard black hooves. Minimal amount of white. The less the better. Mare or gelding doesn't matter but I am partial to mares. Come to think of it I think I already have two that are pretty perfect in my book. Kitty and Reno. Can't ask for more than that.

I have more likes then dislikes so.. I'll just say my dislikes.
Completely solid from head to toe! I have to have a little color, even if its just a snip! Also, sorrels! Although I have 2 sorrel paints, their white more then makes up for their sorrelness.
I do really like Rocky Mountain Horses- all around. They have great coloring, gait, and most of all attitude! Mostly they are black/black, black/flaxen, or chestnut/flaxen. I love the coloring on this one..

I guess my favorites are Appys and QH's but I love them all...and have had a little bit of everything over the years. Right now there are 4 Appys here, 1 solid Paint, 1 TB, 3 QHs, and this weekend I'm supposed to be getting in 2 huge full drafts to board for a while...

Favorite is the Tennessee Walking Horse and the Kentucky Mountain Saddle Horse.
I like roans the best; blue, gray, black, bay then chestnut. Then I would say buckskin and classic champagne for solid color.
Size would be 15.2 to 16 hands.

Decisions, decisions!

If I had to choose it would be in the following order....

1) Paint - bay and white overo or tobiano
2) Appaloosa - dark brown with spotted blanket
3) Buckskin - light brown with dark, contrasting black high up on the legs.

Size - anything 15 hands or higher. No such thing as too big!

Give me a 17+ hand Thoroughbred, bay or black.

Nothing compares to having that much power between your legs at a full gallop!
