Proud Pony Momma!!!

So I thought since I have posted so many negatives lately, I would post a postive!! I have put both of my Welsh Ponies in training and they have done amazing!!!

My pride and joy is my Half Welsh Filly Rosmel's Red Velvet..She is now 2.5 and 13.2 so I decided to lightly start her...only because I am a very small person ( 4'10")....now for those of you that start youngsters you know that most take at least 1 to 2 weeks to even begin to do a first ride.....but not my good girl!! She has known how to longe for a while now so we already had that under our belts...but the first day I put on the saddle..and NOTHING!! She walked off and started eating grass!! She acted like she had been saddled a million times!! So I figured well...we will try the bridle....NOTHING again!! What a good girl...so of course I decided that was enough for the day regardless of how good she was because I did not want to push her too much....so I gave her two days to get used to that and learn some basic left - right whoa type stuff- did perfect...So on the 4th day I called Hubby to come down for our first ride because she was just doing so well I felt like she was ready

Where I am so short I decided to stand on a bucket so I wasnt clamboring up her side for her first ride....can you believe my dumb butt fell through the bucket and it exploded right beside of her??? And she just stood there!! Our first ride was short but wonderful because she was perfect!!!of all of the ponies I have trained she is the first I can say will be a bombproof kids pony I am so excited to find her a cute little girl to take her to shows!!!
