What a difference a year makes.....

Okay so I haven't been around much lately but I had to share this story on my best equine buddy.

As of a year ago Doc still had a pretty nasty looking owie on his belly and we were still doing alot of hosing, cleaning, and bandaging. This year we are riding!!!! Saturday we went out for a nice ride and had a blast. He was a very good boy and didn't cause a lick of trouble. The only problem we had was his poor empty tummy and all that delicious grass just beyond his nose.

I love that big fella so much sometimes I get tears in my eyes. Yea, that was pretty corny I know. He will definately be living his entire life with me if I have anything to say about it!

Sure I can! Here's the link to his thread: Healing prayers needed*yet another update*

And a picture, unfortunately I don't have any good ones. Every time he sees me I end up with a pic of his nose. The first one is him picking his way down the hill to get to mom quicker than everybody else, the second is across the fence so he couldn't come too close.

Not corny at all. I feel the same way about Ahliver. I smile thinking of him, laugh seeing him as I drive up the driveway and sometimes get teary just thinking about how much I love him.

Your boy looks great.
