great trail ride today

well i went on a trail ride today, the horses were awsome. bacardi spooked a little but not as much as normaly but, hes getting better, paso_lover tucker was great he didnt even put up a fight with my sister. i well put the pictures up when i get them on my computer. i notice when we where heading home that bacardi was lowing his head like a western pleasure horse, he was doing it all on his own, he was keeping it there and bring it back up where his neck was level, i was so proud that he was doing this i have never asked him to lower his head, since i dont know the prober way.i am so proud of him that i am trusting him more and more each day he show me that, he can do this. he was even in the lead with his ears all perked up. like nothing was bothering him. when normal he is always watch for something to spook him. i guess my work with him is paying off. i now can not wait for the next show to show off what we can do, i am so happy.

Nice that you had a safe, successful ride. I've been riding too, but only in the round pen and the yard - getting my confidence back up after my wreck.

Can't wait for the pics !!! It is too hot here to ride and when it cools down in the evening the sneeky mosquitos come out to feed.

riding is always fun. i ride in the rain, snow,hot,cold, it don't matter to me. if i got one to work i love it, rank or not. and more alone than not.
