Middle Fork Illinois Trail riding!!
Well with my doctors appointment Mon and NOT knowing how soon they are gonna take me into surgery T and I took off for a ride today
ended up riding about 2 1/2 hours here are the after pics sorry none of me T was too tired to take them LMAO Mom rode him into ground  Sassy How come she doesn't look as tired as I felt??   Poor T and Babs were beat LOL  Yes she broke her new headstall ... he dismounted went to get his halter and she rubbed on the fender of the trailer caught the snap and broke it .... Having my thyroid removed not sure if it is cancer or not so I am trying to enjoy her while I can ... more scared then anything... I HATE DOCTORS !!!
they are saying no big deal but I don't recover well since I am a cancer survior anyway... |

I'm sure riding was good therapy for you. When is surgery? I will have you in my thoughts and prayers.

Surgery just got the call today and will be Aug 22 at noon so if you all will keep me in your thoughts that day I would be grateful!! Alll I wanna do is ride my dang horse now that she is FINALLY sound again
Plan on trying to go somewhere again this week if the heat breaks it is not fair to take an out of shape horse out like I did her this past weekend with the temps being UP like they are with heat index it was 110 today   |

PeggySue!!! good that you're riding again...and good that you are finally getting that surgery...even if it's scary~ You'll feel much better afterwards.

I had thyroid surgery several years ago to remove goiter. It went great,and I am sending positive vibes your way. Glad you got to ride.
