Camping trip, so proud of my girl

This weekend I took my horse camping at Green Lane for the first time with my boyfriend. She is the mare I got off the track back in may, and she was WONDERFUL. I had been having some problems with lameness (sore heels and arthritis) but she is now sound and came back great after the camping trip. I couldn't beleve how well behaving both of our horses were, they stood quietly in the tie stalls all night together and were wonderful riding around the park even with traffic speeding by along the roads. We saw some of the neighboring horses coming back from rides yesterday looking aweful and tired, it sure felt good coming back to camp with fit horses still ready to go after riding for a couple hours. I DID have pics, but unfortunately the dispossible digital camera deleted them all when I tried to load them on the computer, I was really dissapointed

You will just have to wait for pics from our next camping adventure. And just so you aren't terribly dissapointed too, I will post some pics of Kit I took last week playing in the pasture.

And camping pictures are the best!

There is nothing better than camping with your horse. Glad yall had fun and your horses did so well. Sorry bout ur pics.

It's awesome that you had a safe and wonderful camping trip!!! It is a bummer thought that you lost the pics....
