My sisters went bareback!

Had to share these pics of my sisters. They've completely gone bareback- they hate using saddles now, and I love it! They are so cute. The one riding Maggie, the bay twh is my sister, Susanna. (She's a daredevil- 'cause Maggie is a little crazy!). The one riding Stardance, the buckskin twh, is Charity.

Wow ... does that ever bring back memories of my younger years. I used to NEVER use a saddle unless in the show ring. There was nothing better than jumping on my horse and going all day long. Oh to be young again ....

I hardly ever use my saddle...bareback or bust for me! But I don't ride hardcore anymore.

It's really fun to just go out on a trail bareback. Or ride along the beach.

enelson, Charity is 13, and Susanna is 18. They are both good little riders!

I love going bareback- but I like to do a lot of mountain trails- and I hit them pretty hard core. I usually go by myself, so I feel safer in the saddle.

Crookedblaze- riding on the beach must be awesome. Haven't done it yet, but it's definitely on the to do list.

I'll say Maggie doesn't look real pleased. Do they ride without footwear too, or is that just for the picture?

That's cool! I love to ride bareback too!

I think I like it better than with a saddle!

I rarely rode with a saddle, or shoes for that matter, when I was their age! Looks like a good time. These will be times they cherish! I know I cherish my memories of carefree riding in my youth!
