wonderful weekend!! (lots of pics)
So I just had such a good weekend that I had to share. As some of you may not know I just had a baby about 6 weeks ago and since I found out I was pregnant back in August I haven't been riding. Some people say they did and they were fine but my riding horse was a newbie and I had only had him on the trails for aobut 3 weeks. I didn't trust him enough to be careful with me. So I just made the sacrifice and decided not to ride at all during my pregnancy to be on the safe side. Well, its been a hard 11 months but I finally got back on a horse yesterday. I can't even begin to describe to you how great it felt. For me its just like being where I know I'm supposed to be...on the back of a horse. Unfortunatly my horses are about an hour away so I bummed a friends horse and him and my sister and I took off down the road. I had such a great time and was almost it tears at how happy it made me. No one else seems to really understand what its like so I knew where I could go to share my day and everyone know exactly how I feel. So without further ado...here was my first ride in 11 months!!!!

Now I can't wait until next weekend so I can go see my horses and take them out for a ride...I'm sure they have missed me as much as I've missed them... now I need to go soak in a hot bath because I'm so sore, but ya know...its so worth it. my sister just got home from work and she said every bone in her body hurts...haha...it may take just a little bit for us to get reconditioned...but it sure will be fun doing it.

If you don't mind my asking, what part of Arkansas were you at? Looks kinda like the Eureka Springs area, which isn't very far from me |

Thank you for sharing that with us. I know the feeling of finally being on a horse after 11 months must have been awesome for you. Looks like you had fun and you certainly deserve it after the long wait. Good for You!!
