Need Witnesses to Come Forth in Kentucky

I got this statement in an email stating that a man terrorized some trail riders down at Cave Run Lake on Caney Trail...

If you know of anyone that was there during the ruckus, they need to come forward so they can prosecute the guy (they know who it is)....

Subject: URGENT: Assault on Trail

On Saturday, May 17 two horse riders were attacked on Caney Trail at Cave Run Lake by an individual screaming obscenities about horses on trail, throwing rocks & running at them with sticks. A person of interest has been identified based on the description given by the victims to other riders. However, those riders did not get the victims names.

This was a serious incident, and not the first time. If the person of interest is guilty, it is especially important as this person has been a trouble maker in other ways. If these assaults continue someone will get hurt or killed. Eight felony counts may be brought if the victims will press charges.

We are pretty sure the victims are from Kentucky, maybe the Bluegrass. One commented that he had not ridden there for two years.

Please ask around to see if you can identify the victims and get them in touch with the KY Back Country Horsemenor the Kentucky Horse Council.
