I am so jealous. I have always wanted to live in Montana and your pictures just made it worse!

I agree. Wild Horse Island does sound really cool. What are the chance of us getting pictures of those guys?

Those pictures look like what dreams are made of.

What a marvelous place you live in and I love your horse and happy dog.

Eastern Montana is well...kinda ugly IMO well...compared to Western Montana...which is where I live. Its so flat and and windy...no trees...its like North Dakota IMO. It has its beauties to of course(not trying to offend anyone...after all I was born in ND.) but it just does not compare to western montana AT ALL Before your time is done here...you def need to come see western Montana Singing Tree

Oh how lucky you are to be surrounded by such beauty. We live in North Texas the only hills we see are the fire ant mounds that are growin in our yard because of so much rain.I have always wanted to come ride up that way.You are so blessed to be able to walk out your back door and see this.

Well...living here you are not going to be rich by any means You live here because you want to, because its beautiful, and there is no place like it. Many of the residents around here are retired and really that would be the way to go. I was spoiled to have grown up in such a beautiful great place. Its just amazing here and whenever I go to a different state...I think about how much I miss home
The higher your education...the more you will make here. Rent is expensive! Espiecally if you rent in any of the ski towns around here. For just a one bedroom apartment the rent is going to be anywhere from $600-800. Boarding Im not sure about...as I had never boarded before and Im looking into that for this winter...The place Im looking at is $165 for pasture board and it has a big indoor/outdoor arena round pens, wash stall, tack rooms, free clinics and free coffee and snacks. I love montana and wouldnt live anywhere else. This is my forever home state. I may not be rich...but Im living the dream

Just depends on the time of year....it def gets into the negatives at night in winter. It all depends on mother nature and the big man upstairs
Today it was in the 40's...and it was pretty nice out I had a great ride today with Monkey Man. It was beautiful out.

Gosh, you really do have the most gorgeous views...year round it seems! What stunning scenery, and Wild Horse Island sounds like such a dreamy, enchanting place, doesn't it? I am going to become obsessed with visiting Montana if you keep posting such enticing photos! That would be a REALLY long road trip from GA though!

Do you have a larger picture of Sweetie...I know how much you loved her from reading your posts, and she looks so pretty, but I'd love to see a bigger photo.
