WHat a great day for a trailride Pic heavy

Last weekend we had snow on the ground. Today was nice enough to load up the horses and head to Newton Hills, one of my favorite riding spots. So we took my son's gf and her new horse, Ace, my granddaughter, rode my husband's ol paint, Sport, Madison was on Scampi and of course, I was on Shunke. Had a great time!

I recognize those trails. Although I was only able to get out there once this year, back in May. Looks like it was a beautiful day for a ride! Hoping to get out there more next season.... at 8 months preggo I'm going no where on any rides, any time soon.

Any day that you can get out and enjoy nature from horseback is a blessing. Thanks for taking us along.

We just had four or five days of yucky rain here and colder temps (highs in the 40s) but the next four days are supposed to be sunny and get into the 60s. My DH and I are planning to play hooky from work Wed or Thurs and load up the horses for one last trail ride.

Looks like it was a fun day! I've always wanted to go on horse trails to ride but not owning a trailer really prevents that from happening . Gorgeous horses by the way!
