I received this email regarding stolen items and our hope is that at least some of the items reach the rightful owners. This is not a forum, just the information. It appears the thief was quite knowledgeable of horse equipment. If you have any info of the theft please contact cedarlane_ec@yahoo.ca

We had a few things stolen:

16" Dark Leather Circle Y saddle. With silver and leather roping and matching breast collar.

16" Stuben w/matching beast collar. The saddle was inside the bag it came with.

These were stolen in Terre Haute, IN.

I have "found" my stolen horse - I know where she is, who she's with and I am comfortable knowing she is in excellent hands. Waiting for the authorities to follow-up on the guy that actually stole her and resold her. I wish anyone else who is going through something like this extremely good luck and {{{{hugs}}}}. It has been really hard to be patient, and I sure feel alot better knowing where she is.

I recently had a 6y/o 15.3 Bay TB gelding diamond shaped star and a small (i think left) hind sock stolen. I know that just described every horse ever, but he is pretty non descriptive. I know who has him and have attempted to get him back, but despite having a bill of sale and the cooperation of the authorities i have been unable to retrieve him. If anyone in my area is looking at horses that sound to buy that sound like this please PM me as i think he may be up for sale. Thanks!

I know this is a longshot but this mare was stolen from my pasture along with a boarders mare last fall. The sheriff dept never did find any clues. She would be three years old now and possibly had a foal between June and October of this year. She was green broke to ride.

This horse is kind of missing... Its a long shot. But I sold this horse at the shipsawanna auction On July 5th 2001. His name is Dunn he would probably be 15-18 yrs old. Not Registered. Red Dun Gelding, He is around 15.-15.2 hands. He has a chip in right ear. I would LOVE to find this horse If possiable. Please PM me if you have any questions.

There is a great website (netposse.com) that lists stolen horses, equiptment, horse trailers. Everything. The woman who runs it is wonderful and works very hard to return all horses to their homes.

I would recomend everyone get on the email list for this sight, as they send out alerts for any horses or equiptment reported stolen in your state.
