I owned a Courbette dressage saddle and LOVED it. I ended up giving it to my husband to ride in on his Paso Fino because it didn't fit my Andalusian stallion.

I have one...and I do enjoy it. It's old and used, but it fits Tango and me, and it's comfortable like an old pair of jeans. It's a courbette all around.

Best-
Noni

I have a very nice Courbette Husar saddle for sale

They are excellently made saddles, really nice knee rolls, and comfortable seats.

PM me if you want to see it!

My last saddle was a Courbette a/p saddle. Called the Corinthian Achiever I think. Thats the saddle I did 4'6 in and schooled 4' regularily in haha (now that I have a Beval CC, I wish I'd had the beval at the time haha) BUT it was a nice saddle...very comfy...fit quite a few horses well.

I've HEARD the newer Courbettes just aren't the same, but haven't sat one myself.

Kehlyrsmom - trying to send you a PM, but you need to clear some messages. The system is telling me you have exceeded quota.

I've owned two of them; the Alpina and the Vision. I love both of them and would definitely recommend them for the money.

I have a Courbette close contact. I'm proud to say that it is at least 23 years old that I know of (I bought it used that long ago). It's still in use today with my Goddaughter....

I have a Bernina dressage, the best saddle for me. Unfortunately it does not fit my horse. It is for sale 16" seat, anyone interested?

Unfortunately I need a 17.5 inch seat. I have a Duett Rondo with a 38 cm tree that fits my mare beautiful, but unfortunatley the saddle is two broad in the seat for me and puts me in a really bad position on her.

A friend of mine has an older Blue Ribbon Avanti with a narrow twist in the seat and with quarter horse bars that amazingly fits my mare. The saddle also fits me much better and puts me in a better position.

So I am trying to find something that will fit her but also that has a narrow twist. She is a 16.1 hand Friesian/Morgan cross, that is built very wide.
