Are you talking about western or english? My first english saddle was by blue ridge. I rode in it almost every day for 3 years. No problems with it. I outgrew it and now that I am showing for real I decided to get a better brand. But its a great working saddle for sure. Great for begginers!

Blue Ridge used to be good, solid, no frills saddles. The newer models don't seem to be of the same quality material and construction. Kind of a similar story with many of the good old time brands (Simco, Tex Tan, Circle Y, Big Horn).
