Price for saddle

What would you price this saddle at? It is a 16 inch collegiate youth all purpose. Regular tree. It is 14 or 15 years old, but in very very nice conditon (sooo soo soft and comfortable!). There isn't really anything wrong with it, the suede on the knee rolls is worn off from use and the underside is discolored, but thats about it. Its been kept inside during the winter and is always covered unless being used.

It's not worth anything. We will take it off your hands for you. LoL. I would say between 250 and 400. It's in nice condition.

But if you just want to give it to us, we will gladly take it.

Thanks tuffsmom, but I don't think giving it to you is going to get Scooty another saddle!!

If you are selling it with the fittings, I would start at $400. Are you looking to sell it online or through a local consignment shop? That changes what you get for it, too. The tack shops can charge more, but you don't get as much out of it, but people buying online, without having seen it in person, are usually looking for more of a bargain. Around here, it would definitely sell for that much, or more, but I am in a really pricey area. When I was looking for a saddle for my daughter, I HAD to buy new, because I could not even find a used one for her, they fly off the shelves so fast.
Good luck selling it!

I was just going to start buying posting at the barn I work at. We get a lot of children with very rich parents! A lot of the kids there have their own saddles, but no horse!
