Ooops...I did it again....

I bought another saddle. I swear this is the last one.
It was a deal I couldn't pass up, a craigslist find. Guy bought this brand new Simco for his daughter and it was too big for the horse and too big for the daughter. Sold it for about 1/3 of its price new. Fits Cleo like a glove!

Cleo's getting rather pudgy...and she's so furry already.....she is ready for winter.

Well, it was 60 degrees here and I had been riding her so she doesn't look too fluffy in the pic, but she's pretty fluffy for October. Gonna be a long winter, I'm afraid....but at least it stopped raining for a few days. yay.

This is saddle #6 for one horse. But, I did sell an Aussie today, so I'm down to five.

Well, each saddle has a bridle to match....and saddle pads....and my favorite collectible thing, reins. I bet I have 20 sets. It's just ridiculous.

Pheww I don't feel so bad now. Hubby was mentioning the size of my tack room compared to the stalls and hay storage etc in the barn. When I designed my tack room though I designed it so that it could be easily and quickly converted to a medical/foaling stall if required. In fact, I am planning on building on to the barn and when I do those areas will be converted back to box stalls.

Never can have too much tack !!!!

It looks like a nice saddle, scrapchick...it looks pretty comfortable too, and really suits Cleo. I know what you mean about *tack collecting*, good grief, I just can't resist sometimes either. And I have (alarmingly) been considering building another tack room!

LOL, Tubby! Poor Cleo is going to get paranoid about her figure! She is a beauty for sure. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that you don't find any more *must have* tack, at least for a while. My problem is that I can't stop looking for vintage tack...if I could just pry myself away from seeking it out and avoid the temptation...

When people walk into my tack BARN, they are often speechless... what does that tell ya? But I have been known to come up with just the saddle that is needed.
Your new one looks great, by the way!

The combination of the ease of internet shopping and Fed Ex.....gosh, I could have that tomorrow!......and ordering from the comfort of my living room.....and oh holy cats that would look good on Cleo......ugh.....but, I do have lots of dandy stuff to sell, all barely used and in new condition ....
one of these days I will take pictures if I can actually part with some of my treasures.... but I dont have anything "vintage" so you are safe, Brownie!
