dumb show question?

Okay, should know the answer to this but I dont. If you have won a blue ribbon with your horse in Halter can you still enter a "non-blue" riding class?

It's best to check with the association putting on the show. Each show has it's own set of rules.

I am pretty sure the non-blue is specifically for riding, since the class is a non-blue riding class.

I would check with the club or show secretary just to be safe - some smaller clubs kind of make up their own rules and they are not always what you'd think they should be - but I would say that blues won in halter would not have any bearing on under saddle classes...

I will check next time with the secretary, I was thinking that the halter ribbon had no bearing on riding classes. The only reason it matters is that the non-blue is one of the only walk/trot classes they offer so I like it for the extra ring time for my greenie!
