Yearlings first show

Here is a picture of my daughter and her yearlings first show. It was this weekend. They placed 5th out of 15 in colored horse at halter. She also placed in weanling and yearling. She did pretty good since it was her first show and she came into heat for the first time on Saturday. This was a big weekend. IT was the county fair. She was shown on Friday , Saturday and Sunday. She did really good all three days.

Thanks everyone. She is really happy things turned out as they did. We were not sure how Sol, thats the yearling would do . She called out a few times, don't know if it was to boys, LOL or just because she was nervous. She trusts my daughter completely and they love each other to pieces.

Was this at the walworth County fair? If it was did you see any of the drill team competition going on next to the indoor arena?

No, I didn't go that day, but my daughter did. She watched the whole thing. It was just to hot for me that day. Were you there? What team?

Both my daughters were in the Ogle County 4-H Horse Drill Team. And my older daughter was on the Ogle County Quad Team.

My daughter took lots of pictures. I will have to ask if she got any of those teams. How did they do?
