Olympics- Jumping (Eventing) Just Ended- Spoiler Warning!

Gina Miles just came up from 5th place, with a clear round, and won the silver medal!! WOOHOO!

I guess I should add, Reimicke from Germany was first, and someone from Great Britain was third...

For the teams, Germany was first, Australia second, and then Great Britain.

I know, we did not do as well as I would have hoped, I know if Karen had had Teddy she would have done much better, and I really thought Phillip Dutton woud do better. I missed his jumping round, how did he do?

Aww I missed it! But my friend who lives up the street has it recorded.

I really want to see Beezie Madden ride.

Oh, you didn't miss it! It has the rewind option online, you can watch it there, and it will be on TV, here it is on Oxygen from 6-8 tonight.

LOL no need to record - it's all on the NBCOlympics link I posted!

The germans really did ride beautifully, though. Just shows what solid concentration on work can do. Those guys are truly incredible. I have to say, though, that the Japanese rider, on Gorgeous George, was my 'underdog' favourite - and that Joris van Springel, from Belgium, was the most admirable rider. His horse acted up in dressage, and he brought it back to focus. He also rode a nice, technically beautiful CC phase. He was nowhere near winning, but I really enjoyed watching him!

My favorite ride out of all of them, other than Karen O'Connor sticking on Mandiba, was Ingrid Klimke on Abraxxus. I missed her jumping, but her Dressage and CC were AMAZING! I loved watching her, it was truly awesome.
