0810 into the ring we go, we've done hunters but Rio has never done jumpers and I haven't since well, lets just say a very long time ago
about 45 seconds later I'm over the last fence, I can hear my cheering section yelling, "kick him, get going!" we are clear and I heave a sigh of releif, only to be confronted by the ninth fence, somehow I can't count and forgot about that one. I boot the old boy (he will never be a speed horse, but he is game) and he sails over. The first picture is that fence, he gave me a lovely jump but I look a bit worried. We were clear with a time fault and placed third. We completed two more rounds, all without hurling or dying, remind me again why do I do this?
I'll try to add the picture again, this is the wild jump

Looks like you got left behind in the first two pictures. Remember to give forward in your crest release and the horse will have a better chance to round out over the jumps.

Jumping can be fun when you really get into it and you will need to update us when you go to the next show.

omg is that Rio as in Viper?! good lord he looks good ! what a topline now that he knows how to use it properly! I remember riding him bareback in a halter over his very first jump if this is the same horse! he was such a SWEET guy! best mind I ever knew! We trail rode him with my super old mare in the subdivisions and guess which one of them was hot and spooky haha...definately not Rio!
