Im also running for Queen at the moment, I have my speach/interviews in a little over a week, and then the riding/coronation at the end of September... I definitely know how she feels! However I hope I can look half as good as she does! Any words of wisdom?

Good luck in your contest.. It would be great for you both to win! As for words of advice... I believe the most important thing to remember is to have fun. I see so many girls get into queening and turn into lunatics. They complain and whine about everything. Just this morning I heard one of the contestant saying that if she dosen't win that it will be her mother's fault.

Also be confident in yourself. Smile lots

and be ready to respond to any situation at a moments notice. The judges like to see someone who can think on their feet. When you give your speech don't hide behind the podium (if there is one) makae eye contact and move a bit while you are speaking.. Engage the audience.
Be a lady!! Oh and this may noy need to be said to you... but remove your piercings.. no nose, lip, eye, brow, tounge, etc.. One set of earings only. I can not believe the things I saw pierced at this contest
