I have bragging rites!!! new pic pg 2!!

I am horrible about posting pictures and such on here but I really wanted to share these with you guys.. This is my daughter, Emily and my mare Fanita Lynx.

Emily tried out for the Queen Contest for our Rodeo here. As tight as money is she worked and did this her self... well, except for the part where I got up at the crack of dawn and drove her down there..
Any way
she did really well and Red made the other horses look like plow horses (Ok myabe I am biased)
Emily was the only girl out of 9 who that had her speech memorized, Her modeling was great and the personal interview went flawlessly.. We find out next Saturday night who won.. So every body say a quick prayer for her!

She's beautiful, how could they NOT pick her!?! She looks to be having a good run of it with her horse too. I'll keep my fingers crossed that she gets crowned!

Emily sure is beautiful! Wishing you good luck, but I don't believe she'll need luck. She should win hands down.

I wish your daughter the best of luck! She looks fabulous, and did a great job on her outfit!

Im also running for Queen at the moment, I have my speach/interviews in a little over a week, and then the riding/coronation at the end of September... I definitely know how she feels! However I hope I can look half as good as she does! Any words of wisdom?

Good luck in your contest.. It would be great for you both to win! As for words of advice... I believe the most important thing to remember is to have fun. I see so many girls get into queening and turn into lunatics. They complain and whine about everything. Just this morning I heard one of the contestant saying that if she dosen't win that it will be her mother's fault.

Also be confident in yourself. Smile lots and be ready to respond to any situation at a moments notice. The judges like to see someone who can think on their feet. When you give your speech don't hide behind the podium (if there is one) makae eye contact and move a bit while you are speaking.. Engage the audience.

Be a lady!! Oh and this may noy need to be said to you... but remove your piercings.. no nose, lip, eye, brow, tounge, etc.. One set of earings only. I can not believe the things I saw pierced at this contest

Wishing your Daughter the best of luck. I did a little Queening when I was young. It wasn't for me, I would get so nervous that I would forget everything. I could ride with the best, but the interview stuff was so horrifying to me I would loose my voice and my brain.
