Our girls went to a show today.

Some of the G-kids are starting to ride and wanting to show, so our daughters have been working on some of the mares and decided to try them at a local show today to see how they'd do. We've never really done much of this so have a lot to learn, but here they are.

This is our youngest daughter, Beth with her sister, Mandie's horse, Jasmine. They got 1st in Western Halter. This was Jasmine's first show.

Macie, our 5yr G-daughter in her first riding class. I was a nervous wreck, but she was fine. She's on our friends 24yr lesson horse, Jo Jo. They got 3rd in W/T

My niece, Billie, on hubby's mare Mea. This is their second show. They got 1st in W/T.

Billie with Macie's broodmare, Blue. They got 2nd in Western Halter. This was Blue's first show. She was a good trail horse when we used to ride, has had some nice babies for us and now we're going to see how she adapts to local showing.

Thank you, she has been a family favorite, especially since she started riding. A lot of people like her unusual coloring, but her disposition is one of her best qualities.
