The daughter got more ribbons today

She took that little mare she has been training to the local sporting clubs day competition.

A big class of adults and kids. They split them all into people who can ride, those who sort of can and leadlines.

She of course ends up in the "Those that can ride" group.

The little mare went well. Did as she was asked. At the pace she was asked.

They ended up with 3 thirds out of maybe 7 games. Not a bad effort for her on a pretty green horse against some seasoned campaigners.

It wasn't till I was halfway to the grounds that I realised I had forgotten the camera, and the mobile phone, so sorry, there aren't any pictures today.

Nice -- she sounds like quite the rider & trainer. You should be proud of her. When she is old enough can she come here and break & train my weanling????
