just wanted to share

competed in our local cutting horse association (PRCHA) on the weekend. Great weather other than to much wind.

I tied for 2nd each day in the 2000 Limit Ranch and took a 2nd on the 13th for the Novice class.

That last run on (2nd in the novice) felt better. I have been trying to get myself to ride better and things worked for most of the run. I messed up a little in the middle which through her off, but we recovered and then cleaned up our act.

Here are some pictures.
Really wind day so by the second time across the pen I lost my hat... grr.... hair spray was just not enough.

One picture you can see me leaning to much and that is what pulled tink off her run a little. and you can see my hat prettily sitting in the dust. but tink looks so intense I had to include it.

and a few pictures of husband on Cat. He rode in the open and 20000 non pro

Both of you look wonderful! Yeah, I love that intense look horses get too. The way your hair would blow over your eyes you pretty much had to trust your horse, huh? You look great, with or without a hat and leaning too far or not (I couldn't tell anyway). Congratulations!
