Classy's First Show!!!

Hey guys! I've been pretty busy lately and now that I'm in the country and on dial up it takes FOREVER to post, especially with photos so I have been putting it off. LOL. I have time now though so here is my update!

Classy had her first show yesterday, my coach showed her in Showmanship, she placed 4th and would have done better but she wouldn't trot, lol, she expected us to drag her. She only had 3 days to practice before hand though. It was her first time off the property and her first time at a big event like that. She was AWESOME! She didn't bat an eyelash at anything! She stood all day long and was soooo good around the people, trucks, trailers, horses, dogs, objects, noise ect. Everybody commented on her. The judge said she has awesome conformation, and a great top line, she is just a little over at the knees which can be corrected by the farrier and it will be soon. She also said she was VERY impressed with my grooming job (I spent 3 hours on her) everyone also commented on how white she was... this stuff I used on her white really worked great! Anyways.. here is my baby at 14 months old now. She is 14.2hh at the withers and 15.2hh at the bum.

Thanks sooo much! I was VERY VERY proud!! I will be showing her from now on, I now know what to do LOL. She has gained points now and hope to get lots more by showing this year. Im going to try and find my old post with the pics when I first got her to show the difference, Im soo glad you noticed! I've worked my butt off! Oh and I used this thick, blue shampoo called Brite 'N' White. It does not need to be diluted, and even if you get it on their other coulors or markings that are not white, it's okay! It just makes them shine more as well. I hosed her down so she was wet, then took the brite 'n' white and squirted it all over her and then rubbed real hard and scratched it all in her and she was blue, lol I let it sit for about 5 minutes, then I just hosed it off and all the dirt comes off with it. I then repeated those steps and hosed her off again and she was sooooooo clean and white!

Wow she is a real beauty and her white is amazingly white. My paint mare looks alot like her and her white is a pain to keep clean. I will def. try that stuff on her. You have done a great job with her.

Cool

Wow! I need my sunglasses to look at her...she is soooo white. Great job on the shampoo and grooming and great results too for her first show! How long did it take her to roll in the dirt when you got back home?
