Lexington Regional Champs. [Lots o' Pics]

My sister-in-law has an Arab that she's been showing and trying to sell, so she invited us to Lexington to watch her show Taz(her horse). Well, she didn't get to show, so we stayed for the reining. Something I really want to get into, so I wanted to share with you all the pictures I got while I was there. I loved watching it.

The gentleman in the blue shirt on the bay Arab's is: Jesse John Chase and he's one AMAZING reiner. He won over $2,000 as he won 1st and 2nd in the reining class.

Sorry your SIL couldn't show hope everything is ok.

^ Same here, it was a green horse and he wouldn't listen to the rider by any means. There was a chestnut that was the same way, young horses having too much asked of them... but it was still enjoyable when the people that knew what they were doing came in

Well my SIL is trying to sell her horse and her trainer said they should save his energy for the next day (this afternoon) because someone was really interested in him and claimed she could get $50k for him. So I guess if she sells him it was worth it, if not, missed a ride

Yup, nice pics, you can definitely see the difference between the guys that took the proper time to prepare and those who didn't!

Glad you guys enjoyed/liked them It was a pleasure to watch them perform, especially the ones who enjoyed it themselves.

My SIL unfortunately didn't sell her horse. She said he did terrible in both classes they took him in. Oh well, another time, another place.

That was my thought too - they are such an agile animal, I am surprised you don't see more of them doing this..

Beautiful photos..
