Best grooming products out there?

I was wondering if anyone has any grooming or show sprays that are a must? What is your favorite grooming product, or detangler, what are your favorites that you think are worth having?

Here are a couple I can't live without.

this shampoo, is so awesome, it makes giving a bath so simple, you hook it to your hose, turn it on, and can turn the dial on the top from wash to rinse. You don't have to scrub at all. It works up its own lather and like eats the mud right off of their legs. You just spray with wash, let it sit 5 minutes and rinse, its that easy, and they shine and smell great.

this stuff is so awesome on the manes and tails, when done with a bath. it smells SOOOO awesome, and it works so well, you can use it everyday, you just put a small bit on your hands and then rub it in mane or tail, good for getting out burs, or just tetangling, doesn't leave a greasy feel at all, just a super shine. and makes it soo soft. (I bought one for myself... It's soo awesome) its a little pricey, but you only have to use a small dab, worht every penny to me, my favorite stuff ever.

and of course my favorite show spray, this stuff is awesome, and smells great too, helps repel stains, and talk about shine. this is good stuff.

I would love to hear what you like and use, I am a grooming buff, and love to try new things that people like.

I am known for spending tons of time on grooming and trying out everything possible.

I love Silverado Silver Shampoo, it amazing on white areas and grey horses.

A nice everyday keep them healthy type ( plus helps keep tails strong) spray is

As for whole body & mane & tail finishing spray, I love ULTRA or PEPI

Ultra face highlighter is amazing too, plus Ultra hoof spray.

Thats it for now !!!

Oh ya Silverado Detangler is the best out there, last longer than cowboy magic and covers more area with less.

The Arab halter barn I worked in used mostly the United Vet generic form finish sprays. They are basically the same formula as Ultra but in generic form/price.

For shampoos we just used whatever was on sale, mostly Suave or White Rain, my personal favorite is Vetrolin for the minty fresh, relaxing effects.

We also used alot of the same for conditioners on manes and tails but on a freshly bodyclipped horse we used Queen Helenes cholesterol conditioner.

For whiteners I used Quik Silver.

I also like the Vetrolin sheen spray but for tangled manes and tails, nothing works better than plain old Showsheen.

But I will say nothing has a more addiciting smell than Pepi!

Orvis shampoo and Heathy Hair Hair Mosturizer are must haves on my list. They both do a wonderful job and I love them.

I love Quic Color shampoo. Now that I have horses with mucho white, it takes away the yellow stains and brightens up their base colors.

Sounds gross but works great. Mayo rubbed on a body clipped horse. It's just egg and oil so it's good for the hair. A really good wash and rinse is necessary so you don't smell like a sandwich!!

I had to laugh at the Pepi smell comments. To me it smells like urinal cake!!!! I have a bottle I won as a prize I've been using to do tails with....I asked my husband " doesn't this smell like urinal cake to you?" his response was "Yes, the pink ones"

I cannot live without Silverado Visual Difference stain and spot remover at shows. With all the paint and dilute colored horses I show, I'd die with out it. This stuff would take paint off of a car!

I love Orvus shampoo and Healthy Haircare Moisturizer. I've found that the Ultra Hoof Polish gives the best shine and I love to sponge them down with Vetrolin after a hard workout. Cowboy Magic Detangler is also a must.

Packed up my show trunks today and those were at the top of my list!

Ok don't laugh. I use Suave on Sassy. I'll tell you why. Number one, I don't bathe her enough to dry her coat out. Number two, my daughters can choose from a large variety of "flavors." Number three, when my daughters leave the cap open, or leave it where Sassy steps on it and I see 3/4 a bottle of shampoo going down the drain, I don't go nuts because, it only costs a dollar. I will on occasion, bathe her tail with Quicksiver, but I do think it dries the hair out.

I love Cowboy Majic. It's kinda expensive, but it works and our horses have manes that are close to 3 feet long, and growing!!
