Spruce Meadows Masters

Gotta go--LOVE Equifair, Battle of the Breeds, Marketplace, Foods of the World--and International Show Jumping too, LOL!
Just wondering if anyone else on here will there? Figuring on going Sept. 10th for sure, maybe the 9th too---is a 4 hr drive from here, so would have to stay overnight.

Oh man I'd love to go this year, but I think the arena building will be taking up too much of our attention. It's tempting though....maybe we can sneak down for one night!

I have only been to the Masters once, but I have been to there other Tournaments many times and I can't imagine a better run show.

Oh sure, rub it in that you're going

I'm not TERRIBLY far from Alberta, lol!! One of these years I will have to pack Brandon onto a plane and head out there. I actually have a second cousin who has competed there several times, and was also on the Canadian equestrian team-- Beth Underhill. Anyone heard of her?

Yes, Tiggy, I know Beth--well not personally, lol--have watched her jump several times on TV and in person once. I absolutely love Spruce Meadows during the Masters Tournament--there is just so much horse-related stuff--it overwhelms you. And it costs $5 canadian dollars at the gate--and half the seating for even the biggest classes is rush--meaning free to first come first serve. Amazing value for your little gate admission.

Every major trainer/tack brand/trailer manufacturer to magazine-=ANYTHING related to horses in North America--is represented there in some way. One stop shopping for everything from a new horse to the latest and greatest items for every kind of riding known to man. I go mainly to drool over things I can't afford and to get ideas on what I can shoot for in future, lol. OK, now am just going overboard here, lol.
