Had a blast at the State Fair! (Now With Pics!)

Well today was a very eventful day for Little Stallion Acres Miniature Horse Farm! We travelled to the Michigan State Fair today to compete in their Miniature Horse Show. I took my Jr. Mare, Moon-Pie and also the new loverman of the farm, Jr. Stallion, Buddy. I entered Moon-Pie in the solid color class (she's a really pretty dark dapple grey), The Jr. Mares and Geldings class and I entered Buddy in the Jr. Stallions class. The class turn outs were huge! I really didn't think we would do well against the National champion quality horses that were there!
Moon-Pie took a third in the solid color class and a 4th in the Jr. Mares and Geldings Class!! I am officially elated. And to add to that, Buddy took 1st place in the Jr. Stallion Class!! I deffinetly wanted to let everyone around me know, I was jumping up and down and I was aaalllll smiles! So I thought I'd jump up and down and let you guys know too!

Well, where are the pictures? (You knew someone was going to say that, didn't you?)

That's GREAT! I'd be jumping up and down too. If Buddy keeps that up you're going to be able to get some good stud fees!

That one photo you did share is so cute!! I'm sure you her that all the time, but minis are just too cute for words!!!

Although I have never shown horses, I know your wins are a result of the time, trouble and massive mounts of figuring out stuff on BOTH you and your horses part. It wasn't luck nor accident that you won. But as you say, you were up against Champions and at the State Fair too. That is a MAJOR accomplishment.

GOOD JOB!!!

I would say that Buddy seems destined to be a Very contented stallion!

I like minis, in a diferent situation, I would keep them too...but i have always wanted to ride!
