Anybody going to Congress?????

I will be going to my first ever Congress, just to watch but I am very excited. I have a 16 yr old girl who works for me in the barn and around the yard, she will be riding in barrels and poles so hubby and I are going to watch her.

I went last year to watch a girl from my barn run barrels. I don't have time to go this year! I am only 4 hours away, and would love to drive out for a day.

2 of my friends and I are heading there on Friday, our annual trek. Lots of shopping and funnel cake! Calories don't count on these girl outings!

I'll be going at some point. I live an hour away so it's not far. I love to look at everything!! And this year my cousin has started working for a Qh farm from Michigan and they will be there showing, so I have to go see the horses she works with show. They do pleasure. I'm really excited!!

I also LOVE watching the Freestyle Reining!

I am going on the 16th, 17th and 19th. I have a friend who is trying out for Congress Queen so we're going to watch her. I can't wait to go shopping, love it there! Guess I will have to do a little more transcription work to pay for my shopping trip.

I am there now! what is midnightv madness? must have missed that one. it was so nasty last night we didn't even go to the club. this is my third year as a spectator. every year we have brought new people with us so they can experience the horsey madness lol. hopefully next year i will be a participant... at least in novixe hus since it will be my last year to qualify for novice hus.... stupid points lol.

I'm so excited for you guys! Don't forget pictures!!!

I wanted to go so badly, but with work and finances we just couldn't manage it. I've never been, but have always wanted to. It's an 8-9 hour drive for us. The closest we ever came was a few years ago we bought a trailer that was about 30 minutes away from Congress....but it wasn't advertised until the week after the Congress because it had been a trade-in during the show. It was a bummer to go all that way and only miss the show by a few days.
(sigh) Maybe next year.
